Land Certificates

This Land Certificate was issued in 1649 during the reign of the 1st Emperor of the Ching Dynasty--Soon Zhi (1644-1661) when the Manchu rulers just initiated the tax levy following their overthrow of the Ming Dynasty.

The certificate indicates the new identification numbers of the lands and their corresponding numbers as in the Ming Dynasty, their scales and owner's identification.
